The Lea-Francis Owners’ Club annual rally returns to its usual date this year and will take place over the weekend of 11 and 12 June 2022
Members’ events start on the Saturday with a meeting at The White Horse Inn in Duns Tew near Bicester. Those who have registered in advance will then set off on a short Treasure Hunt which will end at The Holt Hotel.
The Club will hold its AGM at 5pm on Saturday 11 June at the Holt Hotel and this will be followed by the Club dinner.
On Sunday we will once again gather in the lovely surroundings of Broughton Castle near Banbury, postcode OX15 5EB. In previous years the jazz band was much appreciated and many made a great effort to dress for their period, so this year the band are set to return and we will again award prizes to the best dressed. There will be driving tests and the usual awards.
As is customary, we will begin the proceedings at around 10:30am. Concours judging will commence at about 11:30am with prize-giving will be around 3:30pm. There is no entrance fee to the event itself and the grounds are open to the public. There is a chargeto access Broughton Castle itself for which LFOC members will be able to take advantage of a reduced fee on production of their membership card. The Club's regalia will, as usual, be on sale in the marquee.

It is with great sadness the Lea-Francis Owners' Club has learned that our President and long-time owner of Lea-Francis Cars Ltd., Barrie Price, died peacefully yesterday, 6 April 2022.
The importance of Barrie's role in keeping the name Lea-Francis alive, keeping all manner of Lea-Francis vehicles running and preserving the records and history of the marque cannot be overstated. He was a great friend and support to many members of the Club and to the Club itself. He will be greatly missed.
UPDATE: Barrie's funeral will be held at 11am on May 6th at Oakley Wood Crematorium, OakleyWood Road, Bishop's Tachbrook, CV33 9QP.

Broughton Castle is booked for Sunday 12 June. The Holt Hotel has again agreed to host us all for our AGM and club dinner on the Saturday evening.
